Time for an update! For those of you that didn't already know, Alison and I welcomed Connor Julien Fenton into the world on Saturday August 7th, 2010 at 7:08pm. We thought it was pretty neat that he was born on 08/07 at 07:08. He weighed 7 lbs 10 ounces at birth and was 20 inches long. Connor and Alison are doing great following the big event.
Alison had a slightly longer and more painful birth with Connor as he decided to come into the world face-up (aka sunny side up) instead of the typical face-down position. The doctors told us that they were surprised Alison was able to deliver Connor in this position as most mom's would have an unplanned cesarean at that time ... Not too bad considering she had no pain medication!
We are all at home trying to get into some type of routine. We are certainly trying to get used to Connor just as he is trying to deal with a couple of inexperienced parents!!
